"TME may be able to shed light on what may be reasonable projected from this round of well frac and flow (gush :)) rates.
Will it prove the economics? I think is the main question."
As previously mentioned 6ULDV8 and since announced by BPT, this round of fracking is not being undertaken in order to quantify the flow of 218. In saying that though, if strong flows did occur (and they are not expected to) then it would be an amazing occurrence and extremely positive.
Speaking further with BPT about this, the factors which make Holdfast and Encounter differ from the production well (pilot horizontal frack) is:
1. Different diameter 2. Different casing 3. Quantity and level of concrete in these holes 4. Lower tech as compared to the horizontal
So, as you can see there are several known physical constraints that have nothing to do with the volume and flow of gas in the REM, which is why BPT have recently articulated the true purpose of stage one fracking.
IMO, I am as confident as ever and I can tell you that Management are as confident as they can be given the "amount of pressure" that they are seeing. Hard to not sound repetitive but I honestly believe that these guys know what they have here, given the results to date, feedback from their geo's/engineers and the expertise of the contractors.
