Over the next year, unmanned undersea vehicles (UUV) will continue to be used in a variety of mission sets, including mine counter measures, anti-submarine warfare, ISR, and oceanography.
The Department of the Navy’s 2018 Presidential budget request includes more than $151 million for the development and deployment of UUV’s to aid these intricate missions.
