I am the same, usually have no more than 5-6 at one time.
I also usually buy in stages now, sit back, assess, and buy 2-3 more blocks.

AQD (800k so far) RMS, KAR all at first dip stage.

My usual hold is $50-100k per stock. At min, a 2 bagger will net me $100k.
Selling always harder than buying for me, although am getting better using tech/ resistance, candle etc and tend to hold longer than my old "fair value" ways. learn to wait for overshoots and undershoots.

Stock profits do not always go back into stocks.
Business and property are backbone of my investing.

All junior stock money is play money.
