I have been advised that as part of the 180 supplement approval process, there is a reply to the application made by the FDA on or about the 100th day of the application (this has past - 25th March I think).
The FDA reply generally asks for any additional information which they feel is required, further test data, and things of that nature. If the application is comprehensive (ours was about 900 pages) & no new test data is required, generally the FDA reply can be answered using existing technical data, and is therefore relatively straightforward.
I believe that the study data released on the company website this week should make a reply to any FDA questions fairly easy!
Once the reply is received by the FDA, they may request a panel review or if they are satisfied with the reply, work "fairly quickly" towards approval.

The more exciting part is that I have heard on the grapevine that we should be expecting another company newsletter "very soon"!!
