    Cletus...

No need for apologies...makes little difference to me...I do not, nor have I ever held this stock. I just tend to think that we would have heard of impropriety, had there been any, a long time ago, and there has been no such accusations put forward anywhere in the media...and being tax funded as well, I doubt that the govt hasn't taken the time to look at it closely themselves.

An acquaintance of mine was once offered a senior accounting position within ABC Learning a couple of years ago...he said that it only took him a few looks to realise that the books were all over the shop, that they were very poorly kept and that they looked very amateurish, that it seemed like they didn't know what they were doing, and that he didn't want the position.

We will all soon definitively know whether there has been any illegal activities occuring here. I doubt it though, and I certainly doubt there has been enough in any case to bring the house of cards which was ABS down. Seems to me ABS is just another victim of this financial crisis, a company just like CNP, BNB, AFG and the like which just took on too much short term debt, and has paid the price when it couldn't meet it's obligations.
