There are countless factories in China that could manufacture the watch to MGM's specs. MGM has had plenty of time during development to find the one they currently use so you would think they made a good choice. I can't see reason to change manufacturer but I'm also sure we are not reliant on any one factory. I have one of the watches and that together with a very high percentage of great reviews suggests the quality is very high and we needn't worry about the current manufacturing process.
