That does look good Foo. Strong growth in January for Navigation and that seems to be confirmed from what I am seeing by monitoring the JB website store number.

I just finished checking stock levels across my usual 13stores nationwide. This method lacks accuracy and only offers a rough guide IMO. 13 stores is too small of a sample size, does not include JB online sales and is very inaccurate when stock shows zero levels for click and collect as I know that can mean they still have some stock. So it's not much good to try and get a measure of actual stock numbers sold IMO. JB online sales may have been quite strong relative to store sales during the pre-Christmas and early January period due to low stock levels in stores. This method also gives no indication of sales for Spark NZ, Leading Edge stores or our own online sales. Still it offers at least a rough idea on how sales are tracking. The number of watches sold for the last week of January for the stores I monitor, was double the number for the first week of Dec, marginally lower than the two consecutive 7 day periods just before Christmas, and well ahead of the week to 3rd of January (which was not surprising as many JB stores had run very low or were out of stock by that week).
Unfortunately I didn't check the first three weeks of January but this last week of January is on par with the two weeks before Christmas and double the first week of December. That's impressive for January and better than I was expecting. The fact that some stores were very low on stock last week which was just two weeks after they were restocked, together with results for the last week, tells me that sales for January might have been on par with December sales. That fits with the results in your chart of rankings for the Navigation category. This would help with talks with Europe and adds watches in the community which will help generate further sales through the year through word of mouth.
