I don't think the current price shows a fair value for AOEI (or Dart). Before AFR knew of the offer last week, I suspect a few traders, especially the hedge funds, would have smelled something happening and loaded up at under $4. Now that the AOE directors are recommending acceptance, meaning the people who know the company the best are saying that $4.70 + 1 Dart is better for the shareholders than if AOE continues by itself, the traders are locking in their profits instead of hanging onto the shares waiting for other bids which may not come or to find out how much a Dart is really worth months from now.
Once the dust is settled, I believe AOE should be over $5.40.
