Good to see it bounce...New City looks like they finished selling in the dump y'day.

What might prompt AOE to move is the success they are having with deeper coals in the Bowen.. Whatever they are doing there might be applicable to the deepper coals in the Lorraine tenement which sounds to me like it holds alot of potential.

I didn't see the note about them reviewing things until the end of the year, I got the impression from the open briefing comment from Nick Davies that they were looking to expedite something based on early successes in building the business in Asia..might have read that wrong however.
All depends on nuances I guess.

RE Lorraine, we've not seen much info on the drill results apart from coal seam thicknesses and indications of gas contents around 10m3 per tonne.. I'm guessing if EPG are looking for JV partners then more data would be open to interested parties.

Overall EPG's contingent reserve figure is massive and if AOE believed they can unlock even half of that gas then I don't see them sitting on their hands after what BG just did on PES..

The higher European gas prices surely offset the higher drilling costs so in that sense its as viable as anything in Qld.

I hold so probably seeing positives where they don't exist..but sure is looking the goods today.
