Well, he’s the incumbent champion because he won the last tournament. That’s the fact. He’s not my champion!

It’s nothing to do with the public. The Dems are their own worst enemies. Instead of offering the public a united front, they’re just portraying a dozen candidates as power hungry back-stabbing narcissists, lying and spying on their internal opponents to try to get the upper hand. And all this is broadcast. So when they finally put forward a candidate to oppose Trump, they’ll have so much dirty washing that any attempt to pretend that they have a common cause with “their” candidate will be shot down in a flame of hypocrisy claims every time.
