Agreed the market meltdown stopped the BYI takeover. As it has turned out, not getting it and the subsequent loss of BYI shares by OPES may actually prove to be a good thing, for the short term.
Without big brokers to analyse and recommend companies like DES, compelling figures or great news are required for it to be noticed.
I had hoped that the door would be left ajar for the likes of Lachlan Murdoch to take a bigger position in DES, thats the kind of news I'd like to hear.
As for the figures, we will have to wait six months.
I still keep comming up with great numbers when modelling 07//08 so I'd dearly love someone to publish a qualified opinion.
