That all sounds very logical however the market is not always logical.
For example FLT was over $25 in 2001 while the AUD bought 49c US. It then traded from $25 plus to $10 from 2001-2006 even though the AUD was rising.
You could argue a China collapse will result in lower oil prices and hence lower air fares combined with further interest rate reductions in Australia which would be good for FLT!
I am trading FLT short term anyway
