I suspect that 2016 will be tough for traditional market cap weighted indices, particularly in Australia. So for my money:
- QUAL: International exposure with a quality bias ex Australia. I like the methodology behind this one which should tend to perform in times where markets come off the boil.
- MGE: This is a fully active ETF with a strong focus on capital preservation whilst pursuing alpha. Magellan have a very strong record, particularly in environments like this.
