    Yes, not particularly wrapped with VHY, but there is no denying that over the longer term it does perform as designed. I never liked it because its smart beta approach is about the 'dumbest' there there is. By which I mean it's very unsophisticated. It's basically a blunt tilt to the highest dividend paying stocks with no regard for the likelihood of dividend stability (say like an RDV which does take this into account). So as a result VHY got smashed when several big holding cut their divs (like BHP). However, it is very cheap, and when div stocks are running hard, it tends to outperform its more conservative peers, which it has done between 2012-2015. Ultimately, RDV has a better risk adjusted return (better Sharpe and Sortino, lower drawdowns), but the truth it, you can't eat vol! So you pay your money and take your choice!
