I also use Interactive Brokers for stock trading... but I am yet to trade forex with IB (not sure about their execution times and spreads etc)
Ninjatrader and Amibroker look interesting and ill probably download a demo at some point
That's a good point
I also feel like I each time I change a setting it might simply match previous history better (rather than validating my system)
Still taking baby steps at this stage I also have no prior programming experience whatsoever
Writing the basic trade if RSI> 80 and so on was pretty easy.... but understanding how to code more complicated scenarios is taking me a fairly long time to get through
