Hi My comments were made as A result of a Google Search re BHPand ESSOs leases in Bass Strait. It would appear that the Commonwealth government is currently requesting imformation on if the oil and gasfields held by both companies is being with held from production to drive up the Gas prices in Victoria. A lot of Interesting reading re BHP ESSO via a google search. Yes the answers could be that they are Small Fields and uneconomical to develop with the Current Gas Prices . IF they are to be released ( On a USE it or LOSE It basis ) I am sure that a small company like Lakes Oil would be only too happy to take on that task DYOR Cheers Towie
