Here a thought that crossed my mind and i could be totally wrong here and the following would be "out of the question" as far as possible action from the court

Most here assume the Libs will get back in Nov and they have already said they will allow selected exploration- which is code for lots but they have to rely on some of the socialist swinging vote to couch a bit.
What happens if the Supreme court decision is being held off till the election to see who gets back in.
Reason i suggest this is that if Lakes can start business again (with Libs) then all good and awarding them millions NOW of "public" money only to have them drill anyway might seem too unfair to govt & waste of public money even if Lakes deserves some damages.
If Labour get back, then the judge may award damages ect or force limited drilling as to balance too heavy a side to labour on the scales.

We are a few months now from November- but i sure this isnt the case- or hmm........
