Don't the cows transition at the same time the paddocks do? And still produce milk whilst transitioning? Just no superphosphate, and other things (don't really know that much about the definition of organic, but I know that superphosphate/'artificial' fertilisers is one).

I still have an idea some of the paddocks were already in transition, perhaps why the announcement says 18 months not 3 years. But scant detail, and for a pretty central point you would think something specific would have been mentioned.
