I spoke at length with Ian Benning at the Noosa conference and for an hour by phone to South Africa recently.

Among other things discussed he acknowledged the BFS(s) were critical to those negotiations. They have always stated there are multiple parties waiting in the wings.

Obviously bigger fish need to show their boards the due diligence on anything they are looking to buy. So I'd say very obviously going to be a major catalyst to some action.

As they have basically been saying to us all along, someone will step in and fund this in return for supply, or they will fund this themselves and make an ultimately bigger pile of cash but not just in such a big hurry.

I think either way we'll have a good Christmas. But if we get funding sorted in the interim it'll all happen a lot quicker IMO.
