During the day I'm a director of AWB yellowcake but the pay is cr@p so i moonlight doing guest appearences on firing squads for the Indonesians. Lets me feel like I'm getting some use out of all the souvenier pistols and machine guns that Saddam was so generous to give as tokens of his appreciation during visits over the years.
One thing i might say is that once I gave up driving tractors round and round in circles many years ago my view of the bigger picture grew enormously.
You can only see so far from a tractor seat. And self interest doesn't neccesarily equate to the same decisions as the common good. The common good being the best interests of the agricultural sector as a whole and the nations interests.
Still, its understandable and you have every right to express the views - just as you should accept others rights to judge them for what they are without accussing them of ulterior motives.
