If you get a chance, check out Hamilton's Pole Lap online - i"m not a fan of his, but that lap was sublime.... Max's was pretty good also. Dan 6th - going to be hoping for some carnage up front and a few Safety Cars me thinks....
So if you want great food at reasonable prices (for Singapore) try these two -
* New Ubin Seafood at Chimes (cnr Bras Basah & New Bridge Rds - first floor). Try their Satay Chicken (they use a bit of Pineapple as a 'secret ingredient' in their Satay Sauce....
) and their Black Pepper Crab - just sensational.
* Singapore Seafood Republic on Sentosa - try their King Prawns with Wasabi Mayonnaise - heaven!!!
