What is the risk for Trinity in the $1m payment saga anyhow? I would have thought the main issue is for the individual who received the money?

We can assume the money was paid by the responsible entity for the unlisted funds, it wasn't paid out of the funds themselves. Who cares what Trinity does with it's management fees?...well I guess shareholders do!

Just sounds like commission to me? Obviously if Trinity knew there was a risk that they may be removed as the responsible entity for that particular fund then they probably wouldn't have paid a commission, but that is in the past now.

Clearly there is some reputational damage if payments were made in 'secret'....but then again the management and board from that time are now pretty much gone.

Not trying to suggest this is all good stuff..and losing two CEOs and chairman/directors in 6 months etc is never going to send a rocket under a companies share price!
