Yes, that's exactly what I am telling you. Unless global funds submit their tax returns to the Australian Tax Office, full franking means diddly squat to them.
Can you suggest why you think it should matter to them?

Read the CYBG Demerger Scheme Booklet, along with the related presentation material, released by NAB to the market on 7/12/2015, which stated quite clearly that CYBG would not pay a dividend in respect of FY2016,in order to shore up the banks capital ratios.
So the market has known full well all along that no dividend is due, yet that didn't stop the stock rallying almost 40%over the past 3 months.
