@madamswer that was the key takeaway for me out of the hundreds of ratios in the report.

it is a surprise that they are taking costs out faster after such short time although duffy has a great rep at turning around banks and has now been given free rein to assemble a team & to execute his strategy.

i should clarify i was looking for some kind of guidance/update and all i wanted was no surprises on the downside like even more provisions or comments around NIM falling further etc
