robyn, this may be wrong, but I don't know if the recent rise was about AMU, which was said to have corporate action, so the market may have thought AMU was being taken over, leaving fewer US-based Aussie oilers, and there potentially being some renewed interest for such companies. Then when it was seen that AMU was the suitor instead of the target, TXN eased back down. The timing was similar for TXN's share price vacillations and AMU's ANN's. May be nothing to it, though.
