bvw, CBD is an interestinng creature. It is a green business with major owners form the Liberal/National/Country parties - the conservative end of town.

I had not realised this till I attended the 2010 AGM. While I am not a political groupie, I became aware that, apart from Mark Vale, a number of major shareholders are ex senators and MPs from the above parties. (I found this out from the way they were addressed during questiontime etc, plus someone pointed out other luminaries to me.)

Not sure what this means for CBD, but they must have the ear (and the pockets?) of exisiting conservative pollies. I can't see them being on the share register and not looking after their interets by leaning on their mates (do consrvatives have "mates", again, I'm not a groupie of such matters.) (And I'm not implying anything out of order here.)

Not sure how relevant this is. But interesing.
