Corporate Highlights

• Over the six months to 31 December 2006 the Net Tangible Assets per share of the Company increased from $1.499 to $1.75 (before tax on unrealised gains).

• On an adjusted base allowing for the discounted 1:3 right issue plus the final and special dividends the NTA increased by 27.5%, this compares to the All Ordinaries which increased by 14.5% over the six months.

• A final dividend of 3.5 cents per share (fully franked) and a special dividend of 4.0 cents per share (fully franked) in respect of the year ended 30 June 2006 were paid on the 29 September and the 29 November 2006 respectively.

• Profit for the half was $21.6 million which is a 129.8% increase over the December 2005 half of $9.4 million.

• The company successfully raised $23.2 via a 1:3 rights issue.

• Since the end of December (up to 31/01/07) the portfolio performance has increased by a further 4.7%

• The company remains one of the best performing Listed Investment Companies in Australia.
