I received an email notification from Calliden as I had previously subscribed to their announcements area on their webiste. Anyway Dawes underwriting , a subsidiary of Calliden have acquired car insurance portfolio Young & Cool. More info on their website - looks like a good fit for the business.

The thing that i find suspicious is that CIX have always announced this kind of thing via ASX previously and promptly, but this acquisition has had no ASX announcement. There has also been increased volume and still no sign of who the 6million + buyer was last month.
