    re: trading halt To buy some time to prove they can survive by themselves..they hope by stopping trading they can make their good argument for the price to increase...if they don't do this the price could spiral downwards to pre-takeover prices (28 cents) causing long-term difficulties...especially if they want to issue more shares.
    Just my opinion.
