There was an interesting article in the Singapore times a couple of days ago, (don't known where it is online as I read it in hard copy) saying that Malaysia is thinking about introducing the same kind of fingerprinting system for voter registration for their elections as there has been a lot of corruption and voters voting multiple times...think that this announcement could be something about that...
