    Its looking good - will be interesting to see how Jan/Feb announcements play out.

    Extensional Drilling by Meridian at Cadjebut Splay Intersects High
    Grade Lead and Zinc Mineralisation
    Highlights
    ?h Extensional drilling at the Cadjebut Splay prospect on Meridian Minerals
    Lennard Shelf Project, has intersected additional high grade lead and zinc
    mineralisation, up to 18.25% combined lead and zinc, outside the boundary of
    the Cadjebut Splay Inferred Mineral Resource (currently a JORC [2004]
    compliant Inferred Mineral Resource of 1.1Mt @ 2.4% Zn, 8.4% Pb and 15.7g/t
    Ag, above a combined 3% zinc plus lead cutoff);
    ?h Best results from the first 8 drill holes released today include:
    o 2m @ 18.25% Pb+Zn in CS10-084 (Extension)
    o 3m @ 15.57% Pb+Zn in CS10-082 (Extension)
    o 3m @ 10.05% Pb+Zn in CS10-077 (Extension)
    o 2m @ 7.84% Pb+Zn in CS10-081 (Extension)
    ?h The initial phase of drilling at Cadjebut Splay has been completed with the
    drilling of 13 extension drill holes;
    ?h Results from the final 5 drill holes from Cadjebut Splay will be released in
    January 2011 and a new revised Mineral Resource for Cadjebut Splay will be
    released prior to the end of February 2011.
    Australian resources company Meridian Minerals Limited (??Meridian?? or ??Company??) (ASX: MII)
    today announces assay results from the first 8 of 13 diamond drill holes drilled at the Cadjebut Splay
    prospect, on the Lennard Shelf Project (??Lennard Shelf??), as a part of the Emanuel Range Feasibility
    Study (Table One and Figure One). All 13 holes were drilled with the objective of extending the
    currently reported Cadjebut Splay JORC [2004] compliant Inferred Mineral Resource. Today??s
    announcement relates to the first three sections of drilling and has extended the known
    mineralisation over 380m along the Cadjebut Splay Fault towards the east.
    Meridian??s Managing Director, Jeremy Read, said that the results from recent drilling at Cadjebut
    Splay had been encouraging with some new high grade lead and zinc intersections which have the
    potential to increase the Cadjebut Splay JORC [2004] compliant Inferred Mineral Resource.
    ??Some of the results announced today for Cadjebut Splay, have the potential to increase the size of
    the Cadjebut Splay Inferred Mineral Resource as the intersections have occurred along the same
    structural trend but outside the boundary of the previously reported Mineral Resource.??
    The assay results from the outstanding 5 drill holes will be announced in January 2011 and have the
    potential to extend the Cadjebut Splay mineralisation a further 150m along the Cadjebut Splay Fault
    towards the east. These drill holes are also surrounded by several historic drill holes which will also
    be used to extend the Cadjebut Splay Inferred Mineral Resource.
    ASX / Media Release
    The historic drill holes recorded assays including:
    ?h ID673 - 3.50m @ 1.0% Zn, 14.3% Pb and 30g/t Ag from 219.50m;
    ?h ID676 - 2.50m @ 1.24% Zn, 22.17% Pb and 30g/t Ag from 229.00m;
    ?h ID380 ?V 3m @ 0.5% Zn and 6.2% Pb from 258.3m; and
    ?h ID368A ?V 2m @ 1.1% Zn and 21.2% Pb from 271m.
