I had a look at RIC's announcement earlier today as I have them on my watchlist. The "drop in salmon sales" term occurs on several pages of their report and more often then not refers to cessation of their agreement with Huon with respect of supplying salmon feed to them. So I think that the quote you appended refers to RIC experiencing drop in salmon sales (drop in salmon feed sale), not Huon experiencing drop in their volumes. I think it would be highly inappropriate for one company to report on performance of another listed company in such way.

Having said all that, SP is terribly disappointing so let's not be surprised if TGR indeed reports a drop in volumes or other, equally bad news.
