Listed companies are supposed to inform shareholders of any changes that may affect the share price as soon as they come to hand, so would be illegal for them to have "If they knew they would be able to update the estimate 3 days after the initial announcement they should have just held off on the announcement."
Read well as additional estimated target resource. Bought in today @ 5.3, not happy with the reaction, maybe Monday will see a little sense.
