Re rushing into a deal
The directors seem confident in option 2 from the "Going Concern" section of the Appendix 4E - Preliminary Final Report as a source of funding so I suspect they share your view.
"
● Commercialisation of the Optiflox® System with resultant increased product sales and technology leasing fees;
● The raising sufficient capital by way of either additional debt and/or equity capital; and
● The receipt of proceeds from the sale of non-core assets.
The Directors are of the opinion that sufficient additional funding will be secured and are themselves likely to participate in any future equity capital raising"

My preference would be for a JORC compliant resource statement to provide confidence in the resource and a more accurate view of the company's assets (even if there is no plan for the resource).
