I cannot for a second believe that after 4 years of losses, they have just succeeded in becoming profitable.
Seems like an awfully large coincidence that they reached this milestone whilst attempting to sell their main asset....
Even with my limited knowledge of gold production, I believe there would be many ways the company could have significantly reduced their overheads in the short term to allow them to become cash flow positive (whilst simply pushing greater expenditure/costs/capex etc a little further into the future)... say 60 days?
I won't disagree with Zinvestor, having BLK ore to utilize the entire plant production capabilities would further assist them, but this could have been initiated months ago... yet silence from APEX. Therefor the logical conclusion is they want to sell now and get out of the gold mining business (I assume the holders of the debt have told them - sell or we take it from you).
Anyway, good luck to those at the Wiluna plant, I just find it hard to be optimistic like some of the posts above.
