Hi all,
I have had YBR on my watch list since it was trading in 60 cents range, and I have finally taken the plunge today. I feel the quarterly might throw up some good figures. However I am hoping someone can help with my questions below:
Considering the stock is closely held, can you highlight the pros and cons of tightly held stock in addition to the ones I have listed below
Pro’s
– a lot of skin in the game
– less volatility
– Hopefully goals aligned with shareholder to grow the company
>Con’s
– Strategic decisions possibly out of the hands of retail holders
– maybe hard to buy stock at desired price in the short term
– if large share holders decide to sell, the price might plummet
– easier to sell off and might be Bouris’s intention in the long term
Also,
Do you guys have any metrics on how their investment and financial planning business is doing? They launched a managed fund recently in conjunction with a fund manager.Isn’t there an opportunity to leverage using the adviser network as the big boys have been hit with scandals in their financial planning business and we have hit $2 trillion in the super system?
Thanks
