1. The need to address the media attention of his remuneration. Clearly he knows people are questioning this.

2. His response is essentially says 'I'm worth it'.

The audacity of this guy! Hayne commission is going to really shake this industry. Hopefully the new CEO steers the company in a positive direction but I wonder how much latitude he will have if the Chairman still wields the same influence?
