Honestly, no, I never take a loss - I only trade in stocks I’m prepared to hold LT if it goes pear shaped. One reason I’m left holding so much!
My plan is to gradually reduce if and when they make a monetiseable discovery and the SP takes off, to the point I’m left free carried. Then I put it away and forget about it until either they have a mining operation up and running or someone buys it off them.
Not a recommendation of how to do it, but that’s what I do.
