I think EAR is an easy buy now. The tax lose silliness must be close or over. The gold price is over A$1700.
You guys watch this go hard soon. Its half the valuation price target.
I also think NST might do something interesting. Why?
I reckon the plant is far more valuable than the market is factoring in here. Given all the ground and upcoming ore production NST is moving into, this plant has a 4mt pa capacity at full tilt. They could pick up over 1m oz at 2.1g for starters and crank up the production profile and mix some of their own ore if they need to. For all i know, they are waiting for the BFS and they may pull the trigger. They could crank up production to 150k oz pa, use their own balance sheet and let the mine pay everything off. They get to secure the ground, plant all for nicks. If a bid did turn up, i would not be surprised. NST bought nearly $27m worth of stock and it wasn't just because they had exploration upside. If you had to go out and build this plant today, it might be close to twice the current market cap. It would be cheaper for NST to buy it and either get the gold for free or the plant at the moment. If they paid 40c equivalent, its probably the cost of replacing the plant without the gold. Who knows, but its worth holding a few at such a large discount. dyor
