The gold price got hammered on Friday and so did the dollar. The end result is that the Aussie dollar gold price actually went up to A$1724. Some are calling the aussie to hit the mid 60c range and that will be amazing for gold stocks like EAR going into production if the gold price is anywhere near this level. You can see that NST' s share price is slightly up today but the sellers in EAR still remain determined to hurt themselves. This weakness is a blessing for NST if they decided to play but i think they would want more ounces. If EAR makes a new discovery (likely over time) then this short sighted price action would be nothing short of awesome for them. I think the funds are assuming a massive placement and that wont happen according to the announcements, so they wont get set going into production at this stage. dyor
