Don't forget the Red Dog Mine in Alaska north of the Arctic Circle, the world's biggest zinc mine (both production and resources). CMIIW. So why not Red Mountain too. If I had the choice between sinking millions into a super prospect in Africa or similar jurisdiction, and a slightly worse one in a stable jurisdiction like Alaska I would choose Alaska everytime.
