This part of the Bryah Basin had only been seriously explored for gold before RNI/AUR came along in 2012; so it's a new ball game so far as discovering base metals is concerned.

Homestake did find some copper just north of Wodger a few decades back but went no further with it. AUR is pioneering the search for base metals here, and it was guided by Peter Langworthy for a few years. PL got a job with then RNI to examine the 25 years of data base etc material that came with the purchase from Grosvenor Gold in early 2012. This area was part of it and there are also areas along the Goodin fault, all of these areas having been identified as Narracoota Formation/Volcanics.

Wodger, Forrest and Big Billy have been likened to Horseshoe lights, the 1st vms discovery in the Bryah.
