Shady, I was just thinking this morning after reading the latest posts, that you and I are very similar, both chasing rainbows on our favourite stock, reading into the company reports any positive aspects trying not to believe any negatives.

I read the positives , the negatives and the indifferent parts WA. I try to be objective. That's my day-to-day job in fact.

I continue to be confident about AUR/RNI because it has good ground. It has good vms ground in a new territory too. It could be a new, big maybe too, cu/au vms province. That's why it's exciting!

Geologists disagree a lot, and fair enough too, but they usually have the same set of facts. Interpreting such a vast array of geo data lacks certainty. However, there would have to be common ground on quite a few points I would imagine; it's the non-agreed parts that result in different views.

Blythefan's post and view is fanciful imo. I challenge B to substantiate his astonishing claim scientifically. He has not only changed the goal posts, he's also changed the game and geological time. He sees 2 pics and has decided that not only should the time of creation be changed by a couple of hundred million years but also decided that the geochronology paper of the basin as per M Hawke and others is worthless and that all geos who have worked in this area eg Peter Langworthy, Albert Thamm, Richard Pugh etc are ning-nongs.
I think that it's balloney!!

@Pacific winner, malachite is oxidised copper. Where it comes from originally - VMS, sediment-hosted etc - does not matter. You really need to do more reading. Also, before trying to teach posters here about weathered/oxidised, transitional etc etc, READ posts here first. This sort of stuff has been discussed and canvassed many a time.
