Yep 2011 was a pretty crap year for me. Extremely actually.
They say the market spits out many investors each year. The only comfort I have is that even the blue chip stocks haven't been doing very well. ( Though at least they pay dividends )

As for the FIRB..how often do they knock back a takeover...Not often. Only if its related to the sharemarket in general and attracts alot of attention ( ASX attempted T/O or if its a foreign investor buying up to close to sensitive land ( Oz Minerals ) Brockman formation..meh who cares...nothing out there for the FIRB or Wayne Swan to get upset about.

So is it every 1% they announce a update to the market? I'm guessing they would have to release one soon.
As I've already said, if there's a massive transfer of shares on market like last time, surely SURELY those idiots at ASIC will notice????
