I doubt anyone in the Government gives a flying fangooly about Chinese interests in Australian mining companies. The Nationals' Barnaby Joyce is the only one that would raise the issue. He's a Qld Senator, so would need a Queenslander to speak to his office about the implications on the mining sector. He's made his feelings known that he does not want Chinese ownership of mining companies, because they are Chinese State run rather than free trading corporations.
