I thought I would update all with my continuing saga of chats with antifrackers.

On Saturday I caught up with the antifracker who canvassed during the last election.
I showed him the nice graphic in the WBE announcement.
He looked at it and said he had seen the movie and people have gas coming out of their water taps.
I explained about water and gas sharing the same reservoirs and that was unrelated to fracking. I asked can he name one situation where a fracked well ruined someone’s water supply. (Hey this is hard work guys) of course he couldn’t.

He has very clever reply “but they use poisons and put it deep underground.
I surprised myself and replied “no they don’t, name one”.

He had no idea what they used and the conversation sort of drifted to an end.

I have sort of been practicing confronting people when they come forth with nonsense to improve my skills, hopefully get people to be more honest and logical.
The big challenge is AGW as the proponents usually have religious like beliefs and no science.

Maybe interesting day tomorrow.
