If conditions can change that much in a few weeks, they are saying they are operating in an industry that is so volatile that nobody could survive it.
If they give sophisticated investors a better deal, it will be a sign of something worse than just a fishy smell. Everyone involved will go into my "don't touch with a barge-pole" list.
