Hrm. Not an ideal drill result so far for the baby Kanuka project. The Lithium mineralisation is close to the surface which is positive but messy and thin hits so far. Grades are lowish but then again this is potentially only the border zones of the pegmatic intrusions plus some of the overburden etc.
I keep hearing people say "no mention of Spodumene" as some sort of predictor of failure. We need XRD analysis back for that determination. Hell if you were hung up on that word in initial RC drill results you would never have bought PLS either (

There were some photos of rock chip samples in the update. Could be my eyes but I swear I saw some greenish crystals in there? Possible Spod? Kunzite? Some purple too, which could be Spod or Lepidolite. Hard to say. My gut feeling is if there was visible Spod in the samples so far, we would have been told so but those photos are intriguing.
Others have been discussing how AVZ hit bullseye on first DD hole. Yes, they did, but only with the benefit of decades of Belgian drilling data prior. Manono is more brown fields then Kanuka is and infinitely mroe so than Kito.
I think the drilling so far only serves to give them some direction as to where to stick the DD and get us a proper core sample deep into the pegmatite open at depth. The way the pegs mineralise to the lateritic cover so far are not particularly conclusive to be able to form judgement on.
Meanwhile, it is clear a lot of stranded investors gave up today and it will definitely make CR time interesting ... sadly I agree that unless we get something more substantial to work with, it may be in that .015 region
