re: Ann: Widespread gold mineralisation at We... @ Wayne72,

Correct me if im wrong, but these are results of re-assayed IFE Fe focused holes. Hence the short depth, and minimal occurrence of Au at the bottom of the hole. My limited understanding of the geology is that the Au is located under the Fe mineralisation, hence finding Au at the bottom of the drill hole.

My take is that TRF are using these drill holes to determine where the Au mineralisation is (and isnt) located, and from there they can create a map of the Au structures, and formulate a drilling program to test them. I would imagine that given there is Au at the immediate base of Fe they will definitely drill deeper nearby themselves in their next program.

I think these results are the cheapest way TRF can confirm Au mineralisation is present, and all for a few dollars at the lab - no drilling costs, no time costs, no risk.

Albeit the grades are bonanza quality, they confirm gold is there, and that is the point of the re-assaying IMO.

    Excellent work by TRF.

    Cheers,
    Split
