I bought into Buxton for all the wrong reasons over a year ago but have no regrets as things appear to be on course. Having lived in the Kimberley for quite some time and crawled around the rocks and valleys it was always a conglomerate of everything, copper, lead zinc, gold, manganese, but nothing big, then along came diamonds which nobody saw coming. What I am saying, the Kimberley is full of surprises, and this looks to be one of them. It is a hard tough unforgiving country to explore let alone exploit, and takes a lot of know how and bloody mindness to succeed. Access to Merlin is fair, (not far from Napier stn), except for the wet. When mine development gets underway there is already infrastructure and port available via Derby, which Sheffields Thunderbird mineral sands project has locked in access. It would be great to share this with a soulmate, but I would keep my old 80 series Landcruiser which has never let me down. GLTAH.
